Fred was out to the Exshaw Expansion Project for the start up of our new VCM. He arrived to complete inspection of the hot gas generator system and completed checkouts and punch list right away. After taking care of punch list items the burner was given final checks and ignition with no issues for the bake out of the refractory. The VCM was successfully placed into operations September 10, 2016 with no issues caused by the burner during start-up. Thanks Fred for your contribution on this successful start-up.
